Magnetic stirrer

Benchmark Scientific hotplates and stirrers provide reliable performance and safe operation for everyday laboratory use. This model features a durable and chemical resistant white ceramic top plate and advanced microprocessor control. The constant monitoring system allows precise temperature control with fast heating and shorter cooking times. In addition, the powerful magnetic stirrer motor drive system ensures efficient mixing in large vessels and more viscous samples. The temperature and/or mixing speed can be read at any time on the large digital display and a safety LED illuminates when the temperature of the top plate exceeds 50°C. An optional external temperature probe can be used for applications requiring precise temperature control. The probe provides direct feedback to the microprocessor with settings to maintain the temperature of the selected sample within +/- 1°C.
